SediCore® Softening Hardness Remove Clarifier
SediCore® Softening sedimentation tank integrates microsand ballasted flocculation sedimentation technology and chemical softening technology into a combined treatment process, serving as an advanced hardness removal treatment solution.
Process Principle
The basic principle of the microsand softening sedimentation tank is to add a chemical reaction zone at the front end of the microsand sedimentation tank. Crystal nuclei of calcium and magnesium precipitates are recirculated to boost contact with raw water, inducing rapid precipitation reactions of calcium and magnesium ions in the raw water. Massive calcium and magnesium precipitates generated in the water are then rapidly separated in the downstream microsand sedimentation tank. This tank greatly accelerates chemical reaction rates, shortens sedimentation time and improves overall treatment efficiency.
